Music Art & Drama :

Each Sanskritian is presented with the thrill of self- expression through the agency of visual arts, music making and creative drama. The Music Department imparts expert instruction in the playing of both Indian and Western instruments - percussion and string. For singers, there is Indian and Western group singing.

The hub of ingenuity - the Art and Craft studio is the place to be in - to see young animated minds form master pieces from diverse materials - oil paint, water color, dyes, wax, clay and even waste.

Suspense, melodrama, comedy, satire, musical, fantasy, pantomime - you name it and the Scholars do it, besides set design, costume design and stage management.

Sports, Games and Yoga :

At Sanskriti........The School, the Sanskritians learn to free their mind and appreciate the differentness of individuals through a host of team games - cricket, football, hockey and basketball to name a few.

To nurture individuality other sporting activities such as cross country running, gymnastics, martial arts, table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton, horse riding, swimming and air-rifle shooting are also available. Inter-House and Inter-School games fixtures strengthen the mind, body and spirit of young Sanksritians. Yoga is woven into our curriculum as an extremely essential feature to help a child of the 21st Century cope with the pressures of expectations-physically, mentally and spiritually open only from Junior 3 (Level III) onwards.

Besides hobbies the school will frequently invite achievers from various spheres of life such as, performers in arts/fine art, sports and from corporate & esteemed institutions to share their experiences with our students. These visitors, acting as role models, will inspire the students to un-fold their hidden potential.

Excursions and expeditions - bicycling and mountaineering- over the weekends and during the vacations will be a regular part of co-curricular activities.

Glorious Achievements:

To obliterate the myth prevalent in most institutions that “Talent is only for a few”  Sanskriti ..the school provides a platform to its scholars to exhibit their caliber in varied ways.

The school is associated with the Duke of Edinburgh Award, now known as International Award for Young People ,(IAYP).

The certificate to run the Scouts and Bulbuls has been formally procured and we  are in the process of getting the N.C.C.(Air and Naval Wing ),introduced in the school.

The school is now a proud host to “SPIC MACAY” –Society for the promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth. Eminent maestros in the field of classical music and dance have been giving presentations in our school premises.

In the recently held Music and Dance competition at D.P.S Jaipur,.Sanskritians excelled by bagging the All Round Runners-Up Trophy for the maximum participation in all events.

Our school has commenced the Student Exchange Programme ,with our soccer team playing a friendly match with the prestigious Bishop Cotton School, Shimla, Delhi Public School, Jaipur and Pathways World School, Gurgaon. This endeavor will facilitate healthy student interactions.

We in the form of Trinity Music from London have adopted a formal system of learning Western Music. This will provide a platform for all scholars who are musically inclined to acquire a formal Certificate in music from the world famous Trinity College of Music, London. For the scholars interested in learning Hindustani music formally, we are also seeking association from the renowned Bhatkande Institute of Music.

All club activities culminate in two exhibitions during one academic session. This in turn will help the clubs to be more focused and productive.
